Guys...Here I Am!

I'm officially back from Europe. I have been for a few days now, and I think I'm just now getting over my jet lag. It's a weird thing for me. I woke up at 6am my first morning back and thought "Heck no. I'm not getting up yet," so I made myself fall back asleep. Only worked until 8:30, but it was better than 6. It's just been especially strange because, as I've mentioned before, I am NOT a morning person, so to wake up so early without an alarm is just...weird.

Also, I came back with a bit of a tan! That's impressive for me. I'm usually about as white as...well, as the drawings of myself I put in this blog. My very first day in Vienna, I got sunburnt. Pretty badly too. I was not at all expecting to come home from Austria/Germany with a sunburn. Luckily though, it's now turned into a fairly decent tan, so that's nice. Usually the progression is something like:

Oh, and I also have a Farmer's Tan. I'm not really happy about that, but I'll take what I can get.

So that things don't get too crazy with pictures here, (I took 700...literally) I'll just post some of my favorites, and not all at once. For today, here's some from Vienna, which was I think my favorite city. Enjoy. :)

Guten Tag!

I have internet access at my hotel, and I just couldn't resist a quick hello! This is going to be my shortest post ever I think, and there aren't going to be pictures. Sorry. No Paintbrush on this computer. The good news though is that I'll be home tomorrow night! Yay! So I'll have MY computer back, and I have a ton of fun stories from my trip to share, so I hope you're all ready for some stories of German shenanigans. They're coming soon. Can't wait to get this thing going full-speed again!

Apologies

I'm sorry, people. I didn't finish a good, fun post to share with you all before I leave for my European adventure/class. And...I'm leaving in an hour. So...I don't have anything really worthwhile to post. Other than this apology for not having anything decent to post.

I'm bummed that I won't be around for two weeks, and I'm sorry I won't have any new posts for that time. This week leading up to traveling has been NUTS. Last night, I was scrambling around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to figure out how to condense my life into a suitcase for two weeks. Travel stresses me out. I get angry and say things like "This is too much! I don't want to go! Forget this!"

I don't mean it of course, because once I arrive all the stress melts away and I have a great time.

Then again, once it's time to pack up to come back home, I'll be right back in stress-mode. I can't really help it.

Anyway, I hope you can all forgive my extended absence, and I PROMISE if you can bear with it for two weeks, I'll share a bunch of fabulous pictures with you when I get back! Deal? I hope so.

My Appreciation of the Greatness of You People

I hate doing these little dinky posts, but I'm (supposed to be) in the middle of a LOT of homework for my spring term class right now. And I'd like to go to bed soon-ish. We'll see if that happens. Doubtful.

Anyway, the point of this post is to say...I'VE GOT OVER 100 FOLLOWERS! Seriously...I'm amazed. I can't even believe this has happened. I really, truly, honestly, never imagined so many people would care to read my goofy little blog, but apparently there are at least 104 people around the world who do. I'm flabbergasted. Really.

See? Flabbergasted.

Really I just wanted to say "thank you" to all of my followers, and also to those readers out there who aren't necessarily following. I know you're out there, and I appreciate the reads! ALSO, thank you to those of you who have taken the time to leave such happy, nice, supportive comments on my posts. Comments make me smile a lot, and I like smiling, so I really like comments.

I don't have the means to do an "I've-reached-100-followers" giveaway or anything fancy like that, but I just wanted to show a little appreciation for all the support. It means a lot.

I'm really going to try very super-duper extra hard to have the more worthwhile post that I'm working on up by the weekend. On Monday I'll be leaving for a two week trip to Europe, so I won't be posting at all while I'm gone, and I feel sad about that. So posting right before I leave is the goal. I hope you all can soldier on in my absence, and take comfort in the knowledge that I will be back. Hopefully with some fun Europe stories to blog about! I have a hunch that this trip will be fun to turn into goofy, poorly drawn cartoons.

Anyway, thanks again for being great. Thanks for the comments, the reads, the follows...it makes me feel all warm-and-fuzzy-doe-eyed-sappy-I'm-going-to-shed-a-single-tear-of-happiness inside.
